Representative Sharice Davids has been named a Co-Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) Frontline Program, which focuses on defending the most competitive Democratic-held seats in the country. As a former Frontline candidate herself, Davids brings firsthand experience in winning tough races and a proven record of success in battleground districts.

“I know what it takes to win in a competitive district because I’ve done it — time and time again,” said Davids. “I’m honored to help lead this program as we work to protect our Democratic incumbents and take back the House in 2026. Voters have a clear choice in next year’s election, and I’ll be working hard to make sure they know Democrats are the ones fighting for them.”

Davids has been a key force in defending competitive districts, first flipping Kansas’ Third Congressional District in 2018 and successfully holding it ever since — even after state Republicans openly bragged about their gerrymandering efforts, saying, “we can draw four Republican congressional maps.” Despite being a top target of national Republicans and dark money groups, she has consistently outworked and outperformed expectations, winning re-election by wide margins, even in a Republican leaning district.

As a former Frontliner, Davids understands the unique challenges of running in battleground districts and the importance of building strong, community-driven campaigns. Her leadership in Congress — focusing on lowering costs, protecting reproductive rights, and delivering for hardworking families — has made her one of the most effective voices for Democrats in tough races.

The DCCC’s Frontline Program is pivotal in maintaining and strengthening Democratic representation in Congress. By providing targeted support to vulnerable incumbents, the program aims to fortify the party’s position and advocate for policies that benefit all Americans. Representatives Ami Bera of California and Greg Stanton of Arizona will serve as Co-Chairs alongside Davids.
