Rep. Sharice Davids Casts Vote in Kansas’ 2024 Primary Election
ROELAND PARK, KS – Today, Representative Sharice Davids joined thousands of Kansans in casting her vote in Kansas’ 2024 primary election. Davids, who is running unopposed in this year’s primary election, encouraged all Kansans to make their voice heard today and in November.
“Voting is a powerful way to influence the direction of our country and ensure that our leaders reflect the values and priorities of our community. I hope all Kansas can make their voices heard today because it’s more important than ever that we elect leaders who will fight for our values and our future,” said Davids. “From the start, I’ve been the only candidate for the Third District who will fight to lower costs for Kansans, protect our personal freedoms, and work with anyone — Republican or Democrat — to get things done.”
Davids emphasized the importance of voting and her commitment to ensuring every Kansan can do so without barriers. She highlighted her efforts to lower costs, improve supply chains, boost domestic manufacturing, support farmers, and tackle rising prescription drug prices. Davids also spoke about her consistent record of defending reproductive rights — at a time when those rights are under threat — and stressed the importance of electing candidates who will work to combat extremism, not perpetuate it.
Polls are open until 7pm CT today. To check one’s registration status and find voting locations, Kansans can go to the Kansas Secretary of State’s website or iwillvote.com.
