Rep. Sharice Davids Votes Early in General Election, Encourages Kansans to Make their Voices Heard
Overland Park, KS – Today, Representative Sharice Davids joined Kansans to cast their votes in the general election. Davids discussed the importance of this election, and encouraged all Kansans to make their voices heard whether voting early in person, by mail, or on Election Day.

“I urge all Kansans to make their voices heard in this election. The stakes are high — and early voting is a convenient and secure option,” said Davids. “The Kansas Third doesn’t want another divisive politician looking to score political points. Whether it’s standing up to my own party, working across the aisle to lower costs, or defending reproductive rights, I will always fight to move Kansas forward.”
Davids is focused on lowering costs for Kansas families, protecting individual rights, and working across the aisle to achieve lasting results. She helped pass legislation to cap insulin prices at $35 a month for seniors and empower Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices, while her opponent called these efforts “unconscionable” and stands against reproductive rights. Davids is committed to ensuring Kansans’ voices are represented in Congress, while her opponent’s extreme policies put corporate interests and political agendas ahead of Kansans’ well-being.
To check registration status and find early voting locations, Kansans can go to the Kansas Secretary of State’s website or iwillvote.com. Advance in-person voting is available throughout the Third District until November 4 at noon, and voters do not need to be registered with a political party to vote in the general election.
