Sharice Davids Closes Record-Breaking Year with Over $2.8 Million Raised
Today, Representative Sharice Davids (KS-03) announced her re-election campaign raised more than $855,000 in the fourth quarter of 2021, contributing to a year-end total of over $2.8 million––the most her campaign has ever raised in a non-election year.
Davids heads into the election year with over $2.3 million cash on hand, a war chest built on strong grassroots support. Nearly 90 percent of contributions to the campaign were less than $100.
“I’m incredibly grateful for this surge of grassroots support, putting us in a strong position as we head into 2022,” said Davids. “We’re making progress on the issues that matter to people in the Third District, from lowering costs on health care and everyday essentials to supporting our economic recovery.”
Davids continues to bring the voices of the Third District to Washington in her second term. In 2021, Davids brought home 1.3 million economic impact payments to hardworking Kansans, gave 45,100 families in the Kansas Third District a tax cut through the expanded Child Tax Credit, and helped lead passage of the bipartisan infrastructure law, bringing $3.8 billion to Kansas and putting 30,000 construction workers on the job in the KC area.
