OVERLAND PARK, KS — Today, Representative Sharice Davids (D-KS-03) announced a powerful second quarter fundraising performance, raising $656,846 between April and June. Her campaign enters the final stretch before the August primary with $1.7 million in cash on hand, underscoring broad and sustained grassroots momentum heading into the election cycle.

Every contribution, every volunteer, and every conversation reminds me why I love representing Kansas’ Third District,” said Davids. “As we head toward the August primary, I’m excited not only to earn another term serving our community, but also to support the outstanding Democratic candidates running up and down the ballot. The fundraising period was driven overwhelmingly by small-dollar donors, with 96 percent of all contributions at $100 or less. The average contribution was $51, reflecting deep community-based support rather than large institutional contributions. Support from Kansas remains central to the campaign’s financial strength. Half of all donations came from Kansans, with 6,059 Kansas donors contributing during the quarter.

Davids is fighting to lower the cost of groceries and gas, expand affordable healthcare, support local farmers and ranchers, and block extreme policies that only benefit billionaires — all while building a campaign fueled by strong community engagement and grassroots energy.
