Today, Representative Sharice Davids (KS-03) announced her re-election campaign raised over $678,000 in the third quarter of 2025, bringing total cash on hand to more than $1 million in her federal campaign account. Despite efforts by Donald Trump and extreme Republican politicians in Kansas to once again gerrymander her out of office, Davids continues to show strong grassroots support across the Third District.
“I am incredibly grateful to the Kansans who have stood with me, supported our campaign, and shown that we will not be silenced by shady political power grabs,” said Davids. “Our team’s momentum is a reflection of everyday Kansans who believe in fair representation, strong communities, and putting families first. I am ready to keep fighting for them every single day.”
Davids is currently running for her fifth term representing Kansas’ Third District, which could see its boundaries redrawn under an unprecedented mid-decade gerrymander being pushed by Donald Trump and Republican leaders in Topeka.
These extreme politicians are circulating a petition to call a special legislative session. If they get enough signatures, the session could start as soon as November 7. Their plan? Split up Johnson County, despite promising they wouldn’t, and gerrymander the maps all over again.
Davids remains committed to working with both parties to serve the people of Kansas’ Third District. She’s focused on lowering the cost of groceries and gas, making health care more affordable and accessible, supporting local farmers and ranchers, and fighting back against extreme policies that hurt hardworking families.
