Sharice Davids Announces Major $652,000 Haul for Second Quarter

Grassroots Strength Continues with 96% of Contributions Under $100

Today, Representative Sharice Davids (KS-03) announced her re-election campaign raised over $652,000 in the second quarter of 2021. Davids’ campaign raised over $110,000 more than this time last cycle and now has over $1.2 million cash on hand.

96 percent of Davids’ contributions received thus far have been less than $100, and the average contribution is $65, demonstrating the grassroots support that has powered Davids to victory twice in the Third District.

“I’m proud and honored to have the support of the Third District,” said Davids. “I’ve been working hard to support our economic recovery by putting vaccines in arms, money in pockets, and people in jobs across the Kansas Third—and we’re starting to see results. I’m staying focused on the issues that matter most to our community, and I don’t plan to slow down any time soon.”

Davids continues to bring the voices of the Third District to Washington in her second term. This year alone, Davids brought home 1.3 million economic impact payments to hardworking Kansans, supported 150,000 children in KS-03 through the expanded Child Tax Credit, and pushed forward $25.5 million for crucial infrastructure projects in the Kansas City Metro.
